Forty Jamaican entrepreneurs have been selected and will be exposed to two days of training and coaching in preparation for interviews/pitching to investors as they seek funding for their businesses.
The initiative, developed by the Jamaica Venture Capital Programme (JVCP), a unit of the Development Bank of Jamaica, will see these 40 startups being exposed to a wide range of topics to include:
- Personal Audit and Introduction to Finance
- Creating a winning business plan and pitch deck
- Exit strategy and Valuing your business
- Finanizing the Investment
